Previous Update From 03/13/20 Below

As our country continues to manage the COVID-19 health crisis, South Central Communications/SC Broadband recognizes that our company plays an important role in helping our customers stay connected – to their families, their workplaces, their schools, and the latest information about the virus – through the Internet. Our teams are monitoring developments related to COVID-19 and are actively working with local and state agencies and health officials to ensure we’re prepared to respond to the needs of our communities.

While ensuring the health and safety of our employees and communities remains our top priority, we are committed to providing reliable services and peace of mind to our business and residential customers during the COVID-19 outbreak. To prepare for any potential disruption COVID-19 may cause, we are taking measures to remain fully staffed, maximize available bandwidth, and anticipate any potential network issues that may arise.

We have invested heavily in a reliable fiber network and improved bandwidth capacity. Our network is prepared to handle increases in data traffic and meet the full needs your family demands for entertainment, school assignments, and work deadlines. We proudly offer Gig speeds to many service areas to meet the ultimate needs of these families.

As our team members continue to interact with customers and the general public, we have also taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. Employees have been instructed to follow CDC sanitation guidelines and reminded to wash and sanitize their hands often. Employees who feel ill will not report to work under any circumstances.

We value all of our customers and appreciate your continued support. As always, we are here to help. If you have any questions about your service, please contact us by phone at 888.826.4211 or email at customerservice@socen.com.
