Community Rewards
A total of $14,754 has been earned throughout all of our South Central Communications Communities
South Central Communications knows that our communities and our members are what make us a success. Our charitable contributions and scholarships have helped our communities a great deal, but we wanted to give more! We have partnered with Amazon.com to bring more funding to our communities. When you shop Amazon through our link, you’ll still get the same great prices and selections as you would if you went directly to Amazon, but now the proceeds will go to benefit your community!
We believe that shopping locally is vital to each and every community and encourage everyone to shop local for anything that you can. However, for those items that can’t be purchased locally, now we all have a way to purchase the items we need while also contributing to the success of our community. We think this is a huge win-win for us and we hope you agree.
NOTICE: The Amazon Rewards program linkage is not currently working at this time. We’re working with Amazon to resolve the issue. Until we do, new funds will not accrue for purchases made through the links below. We appreciate your patience while resolve this matter.
Choose your project or community below to get started and Thank You for helping our communities advance. Together we can grow!
Garfield County: Bryce Valley Music Camp
Bryce Valley Foundation of the Arts is designed to promote the joy of music and inspire our children to motivate themselves and experience the thrill of accomplishment. Funding will be used to continue our annual Bryce Valley Music Camp, with our number one goal being to offer more opportunities for our local children to experience something new or improve their developing skills. We would also like to find new music workshops and possibly send our children to music workshops in other areas.
Garfield County: Henrieville Playground Equipment
All monies earned will be used to purchase playground equipment for Henrieville Town Park. The Insurance Company made us take down the other playground equipment because it had products in it that raised the chances of getting cancer. We did not want to put the children in any kind of harm. Playground equipment is vital for the children’s social, emotional, and physical needs. We appreciate any kind of donation you can make to help us replace the equipment that was taken down. This will make the children in town happy again.
Garfield County: Tropic Town Safe Sidewalk
When you choose the Tropic Town Safe Sidewalk Project, the earnings will go toward completing the sidewalk along Bryce Way to the Schools, helping to keep the children safe. Sidewalks are provided to help keep pedestrians safe. The students in Bryce Valley currently do not have sidewalks to walk to school. Therefore, they walk on the roadside. This is especially dangerous in the winter due to mud and snow narrowing the walkable areas.
Kanab Creek Ranchos Park: Little League Ball Fields & Dog Park
The Kanab Creek Ranchos Park has 2 projects approved for the benefit of the community. The money raised will be divided equally between a Dog Park and an upgrade to the Little League Fields. The Dog Park will provide a safe and secure location for residents to exercise and socialize their dog. The Little League Fields will be sure to be a benefit for the youth and families in our community offering a more playable recreation area.
Washington County: Enterprise City Park Playground Equipment
As part of a multi-phase, multi-year city park master plan, the City of Enterprise is planning on installing a park playground structure. The need for a park playground is great in Enterprise and support from the community has been abundant. The City has completed Phase 1, which will eventually include soccer and softball areas. The next phase will include a playground area to appeal to younger children and their parents. It will be adjacent to a large grass area, which will add to the appeal for the users. Funding from South Central through its Community Rewards Program will go towards the purchase of commercial playground equipment.
