Attention 2019 High School Seniors – Scholarship applications are now available!

The South Central Communications Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors from SCC’s service areas. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.

Since increasing individual scholarship awards to $1000 in 2014, SCC has provided $100,000 in higher education opportunities to deserving students. These $1000 scholarships are available to all students who live in SCC’s service area and have an SCC landline phone in their home. All high school seniors who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply.

In addition to this scholarship opportunity, South Central Communications also participates in the Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship Program. The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in cooperation with NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association, seeks to sustain and enhance the quality of life in America by advancing an understanding of rural issues. Through its various programs and initiatives, FRS strongly supports the continuing education of rural youth.
