We were alerted to a new online scam by one of our customers and want to share that with you, so you’ll know what to look for.
Scammers are always trying new things to deceive you and they often get your attention by offering expensive gifts for little or nothing on your part. Be mindful of pop-ups, ads, emails, or any communication offering too-good-to-be-true giveaways – like this example of a fake South Central message promising a loyalty reward. Offers and surveys from SCC will only come through official channels and never from a pop-up ad.
